NetSupport ServiceDesk 5.50.0007 is now available for download from our websites. This release of NetSupport ServiceDesk version 5.50.0007 does not require a new license key and will work with an existing NetSupport ServiceDesk 5.50 License. NetSupport ServiceDesk 5.50.0007 is available in English, German, French Italian, Spanish Dutch, and Catalan.

What's new
  • Added the ability to set a default category for Incidents, problems and change requests.
  • Added Circular and Load Balancing options when automatically assigning tickets to operators. The Circular option will assign tickets alternatively between specified operators. Load Balance will assign the latest ticket to the operator with the least number of open tickets.
  • NT Logon updated to Windows Logon.
  • Added an "out of office" option for users within the Service Desk. Users marked as out of office will be excluded from any Circular or Load balance assigning options set.
  • Added the ability to view a preview of attached image files.
  • Added Yesterday to the field Criteria for date fields in the search.
  • The Users hierarchy will now stay in the same location when editing a user.
  • Added the ability to copy image files from the clipboard directly into the add details section.
  • Added additional SQL database connection provider option.

What's fixed
  • Spelling mistake corrected in the AD Sync Log File.
  • Resolved an issue where the AD Sync Service Status was showing as Stopped when the sync was still in progress.
  • Fixed an issue which prevented Custom Logic Workflow rules from saving correctly.
  • Resolved an issue where a custom data string value was displayed incorrectly.
  • When exporting the Lists pages as CSV files, all records are now included.
  • Improved method of adding notes to existing items in the Service Desk when using the Mail Centre.
  • Improved the Mail Service to reduce CPU usage when reading the unprocessed email folder.
  • Resolved an issue relating to duplicated custom data values, that could occur when converting an item from one type to another.
  • Resolved an error that could occur when altering the size and position of objects in a report.
  • Fixed applied so when adding a "change a value" field to a Workflow Rule Action, the value is now displayed before it is saved.
